My Harley gets better mileage (almost 50mpg) than my overpowered Kawasaki Z1000 (a bit over 30mpg) even if I baby the Kawasaki. The Harley also runs twice as far on a tank of fuel, and it's far more comfortable. It requires much less engine/driveline maintenance to boot. Like I said, HP isn't eveything. The Harley has the same 0-60 and Q-M times as a Porsche or a Corvette. Are Porsches and Corvettes underpowered too, or is there an idiotic *double standard? *If there is an idiotic double standard (there is), I simply choose to not subscribe to it, therefore I'm perfectly happy with the power of my Harley and can enjoy much less maintenance than that of the Kawasaki.
