Too much flipping the finger?

Yup. Put one on my 04 FLHTCI. Took me about three hours, but I'm a hack.

I just added one to an 07 FLHT. It took six hours easy but I'm a bit
slow. My dealer estimated three hours.

Even though I was able to get a kit for my bike from HD it referenced
the Service Manual a half dozen times so figure that into your cost.

Here's a question for the crowd. The throttle lock screw would not fit
on the new switch housing so I left it and the friction grip off.
Neither were listed in the parts manual. Not to mention the new hole
was not threaded. I'm thinking of sealing the hole with some
form-a-gasket. Thoughts?

Cheers,

As far as I know, the cruise is only for the fuel injected models.
Maybe you'd better check on that.

I had mine off for years on my '98 FLTRI, Bill. No problems, even
though the hole was open all that time.
