Coffee by itself is about all I'm ready to handle this early. The fuzzies will soon be cleared though. It's about -4 C here in Edmonton (with a strong wind) and some of us are planning a short ride - which includes a stop-over for free hamburgers and coffee at the HD dealership. Then it's off to the spring swap meet put on by the HA here [1] and then maybe a beer at one of the popular watering holes. With the prediction of a high of -1, the riding will be kind a minimal, but better than sitting in the house (our winter's been way too long already). A cool day like this is when I wish my Road Glide was back together. [1] With the recent news of busts, I wonder what their moods will be like... -- Home page: http://xidos.ca

Maybe it's little more than a > throttle-lock equivalent and doesn't adjust speed for > uphill/downhill... I don't know anything about the later ones . Mine , if I'm understanding the manual , reads the speed from the same reed switch that controls radio volume . It also reads rpm's - to disengage if the motor overspeeds . It runs the signal into a box , which controls an electric servo hooked to a cable to the carb . True CC , with cutoff switches on the throttle (rollback to disengage) , brakes , clutch , and the above mentioned overspeed . For the price quoted elsewjhere in this thread , it better be a true CC ! -- Snag aka OSG #1 '90 Ultra , "??" BS132 SENS NEWT none to one to reply

Got the Ram mounts that bolt onto the levers on both sides. Only use em on road trips. I mount a Garmin GPSMap 60C on the right. Sometimes an MP3 player. I mount Ram's drink holder on the left, tho I'm not really satisfied with it. -- Chilly BS#226 Eating a steady diet of government cheese and living in a van, down by the river |
