Thanks Don. I willl definately approach the parts manager as well as the
service manager and question them throughly about it. I certainly don't
want to spend $500+ and have a collection of unusable parts.I am still waint
on my service manual which is on order.

I'm not sure, but I'd guess it would be pretty expensive. You'd need
the hook-up to the tranny and probably a new speedometer as well.
From what I've heard, those speedometer units are very pricey and they
require you to calibrate it to your mileage as well.

Btw, I have all the components (injectors, cam) for a Stage II for
your bike, if you're interested. I bought it off a guy who had his
bike returned to stock in order to sell it. Thought about putting it
on my Road Glide last winter, but changed my mind.

Earlier in the thread, the OP stated that his carb has "clips" for CC
cables.

What does your parts book show for the throttle bracket?

Any notes about different models using different throttle brackets or other
carb parts?
