Indeed. I like pies.

I shall definitely be heading to the Crusty Pie Co.[1] stand at the
GBBF at some point on Thursday evening. Some might even make the whole
journey home...

You are confusing The BBC with Saturday evening TV broadcasting. Forget
that shite, the license fee is worth it for the talk radio alone.

The BBC is very aware there is a private sector and always strives to set
it's minimum standards far in excess of their highest achievements. Of
course aim and attainment are not always the same thing and sadly it does
not always succeed, as the Weekly Thread on The Clarkson Show in these
parts amply demonstrates.

The problem with it is; although, you can understand fully the arguments
and desires of the commercial sector to be allowed a slice of a very large
cake, we know only to well that right from the start we won't be getting
much of the jam in the middle and if ever they get involved in the cooking
process the very cake they lust after sharing will be nothing but
artificial additives and E numbers. We are right to resist.

I'll be trying to learn from past mistakes and not buying half a ton of
scratchings.

Where did I say that it did?
