Top kit is going to cost many *many* thousands.

It's a far better camera than I am ever going to be photographer, and
given the learning curve that I'm on, I suspect it'll keep you going for
a while.

Of course ICBW

Hell, I can box it and send it on.

I read the review of the new lens I bought the other day. The reviewer's
overall impression was good (which was a strong reason to buy it) but he
raised some negative comments about softness of focus in the corners,
vignetting and so on.

Even with the test shots, I had *no idea* what he was talking about,
even when looking, so I'd have to say that yes, you'd need to be really
jolly good before the camera becomes a limit, unless you need to take
shots from three miles away (for example).

Bit like bikes really.

No. You don't need "top kit".

That camera will keep you busy for several *years*, minimum. Unless
you become a semi-professional, I doubt you'll ever need anything
better.

Benidorm? That's almost in France! "The coast" to me is Malaga.
