That's a pity but what you have now you can still enjoy experimenting
with and learning about for years before you need to go out and buy
other lensii.

Note that's need (if at all) and not want. Want is a whole different and
bloody expensive ballgame :)

I was just playing and snapped the wife with the long lens. When I was
looking through the viewfinder, I thought hell!, I'm going to need a tripod.
The image was everywhere, but on looking at the picture, it was actually
quite good. I suppose that's because it was very bright and therefore the
idiot mode had set the snappage to very quick mode, thereby preventing blur?

Have I got the terminology right?
